中标题 Chapter 1 Thieves in the forest

Narrator:  Our story is about Ali Baba, a poor woodcutter in Persia.  Ali Baba's brother is a rich merchant.  His name is Kasim.

Narrator:  One day, Ali Baba is working in the forest.  Suddenly he hears some men.  They are coming nearer. He quickly goes behind a tree before the men arrive.  

Ali Baba:  (OS混响)  There are forty of them.  Look, there're some treasures in their bags.  Oh no, they're thieves.

Narrator:  The thieves stand near some rocks.  Their chief says

Arshad:  Open Sesame!

Narrator:  A door in the rock opens, and the men go into a cave.  Later, the thieves come out.  

The forty thieves: Close Sesame!

Ali Baba:  Hmm.  Interesting.  What's in that cave?  I'd like to see.

中标题 Chapter 2  In the treasure cave

Narrator:  After the thieves leave, Ali Baba goes to the rocks.

Ali Baba:  Open Sesame!

Narrator:  The door opens, and he walks in.  He cries in the treasure cave.

Ali Baba:  Wow!  What beautiful things!

Narrator:  He takes some gold coins and leaves.

Ali Baba:  Close Sesame!

Narrator: The cave door closes behind him.  Back home, Ali Baba tells everything to his wife and son, Morad.

Ali Baba: (cries) We're rich!

Ali Baba's wife:  How rich?
